Summary
The Facility Manager ensures client critical facilities are operated and maintained cost-effectively, safely, and efficiently per the requirements of the Statement of Work and management contract. The Facility Manager is the primary E5 Group representative for day-to-day contact with the client for performance of the contract.
Functions and Responsibilities
- Financial control.
- Manage the critical infrastructure, as defined by the client and E5 Group, within the datacenter. Critical infrastructures are moderately complex with components such as HVAC system, life safety system, UPS system, Emergency Generators, electrical distribution, etc.
- Liaison with Client.
- Sub Contract Management for services and goods.
- Contract Management
- Work with other E5 Group Team Members including Maintenance Team Leader and Technicians by establishing and directing facility service activities.
- Provides 7x24 on-call support as scheduled by management.
- Other duties as assigned
- Knowledge, Experience and Skills
Education:
- A degree from an accredited Technical College or University.
Preferred Licenses or Professional Accreditation:
- Professional or Trade designation from an accredited Technical College or University.
- Valid driver's license
- Valid passport
- Valid security clearance
Specific Skills:
- Three (2) years working experience in a property/facility management environment.
- Excellent people management skills including an ability to negotiate and manage contractors supporting Facility Management contracts.
- Self-starter, willing to learn, able to work independently.

Working Conditions
- The Facility Manager will primarily work in a general office environment, however during the performance of their duties; they may be required to enter industrial and mechanical areas, construction sites and raised floor areas designated as high security.
- This job will require some travel.
- Candidate must be flexible with daily start time and able to work after normal office hours to accommodate certain project activities.
Field Service Representative

Summary
The Field Service Representative should be customer service orientated with the ability to work as part of a larger customer service team. Our service organization supports some of the most advanced mission-critical products, systems and facilities ever built. Detailed company guidelines, work schedules, safety procedures, and documentation control procedures must be followed. Candidates with experience in the field service of ATS Equipment, EPS Systems, Synchronizing Equipment and Low Voltage Electrical Distribution will receive preference.
Functions and Responsibilities
- Assisting our sales staff with applications engineering
- Installation, start-up, and commissioning services
- Scheduling and implementation of predictive/preventative maintenance
- Modification and calibration of the Company's products
- Execution of emergency/remedial repairs
- Coordination of sub trades
- Introducing new products, upgrades, and services
- Delivering high quality projects under demanding time constraints
- Providing reports to both customers and company management
- Building long-term relationships with clients, suppliers and partners

Education:
- A degree from an accredited Technical College or University.
Preferred Licenses or Professional Accreditation:
- Certified Technician (C.Tech), or equivalent, from an accredited institution.

Specific Skills:
- Experience in the field service of UPS Systems
- Experience working in high security and Data Centre environments
- Experience working with 3 phase power systems

- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Windows environment
Working Conditions
- The Field Service Representative will be required to enter industrial and mechanical areas, construction sites and raised floor areas designated as high security as well as work in a general office environment.
- The position, based out of Calgary AB, will require a government security clearance and a valid Canadian passport to facilitate some domestic and international travel.
